Manufacturer Warranty
- Each Fortell hearing aid is covered by a limited manufacturer warranty for a period of three (3) years from the date of delivery.
- This warranty applies only to defects in materials, design, or manufacturing workmanship and does not cover: General wear and tear or cosmetic damage; Slim tubes, domes, eartips, batteries, or other consumable accessories; Devices damaged by misuse, unauthorized handling, or improper storage; Damage from water, heat, or impact outside of manufacturer specifications; Hearing aids that have been modified or repaired by non-Fortell technicians; Lost or stolen devices (see Loss and Damage Coverage below).
- If your hearing aid is found to be defective under this warranty, Fortell will, at its discretion, repair or replace the device at no charge. Fortell may require return and inspection of the device before issuing a replacement. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
- Warranty claims must be submitted via support@fortell.com and may require: Proof of purchase; A description of the issue; Confirmation of compliance with device use guidelines.
- The warranty period is tied to the original purchase and does not reset if a replacement device is issued. The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- If your hearing aid requires repair after the 3-year warranty expires or is not eligible for warranty repair, Fortell offers out-of-warranty repair services for up to five (5) years from the date of original delivery. You may request a repair either by dropping off the hearing aids at a Fortell store or by shipping it to us. If you ship it, you will be responsible for the return shipping. If you request a repair: We will do an initial inspection to assess the damage at no cost to you and determine a repair estimate; If the repair estimate exceeds $50, Fortell will contact you before proceeding. If the device is deemed unrepairable, you may choose to dispose of it or request a replacement at standard cost. Please note: repair turnaround times may vary depending on parts availability and service queue.
100-Day Return and Refund Policy
- Fortell offers a 100-day risk-free return policy on all hearing aid purchases. If you are not satisfied with your Fortell hearing aids, you may return them for a full refund of the purchase price within 100 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions: devices must be returned in functional and reasonably clean condition, with no evidence of intentional damage or misuse; the return must include the original charging case, charger, cables, accessories, and any promotional items provided at purchase; you must initiate your return request no later than 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the 100th day following delivery; you must ship the return package using the label provided by Fortell, or provide a valid tracking number within 7 days of receiving return instructions. Returns that do not meet these conditions may be rejected or subject to a restocking or accessory replacement fee.
- Fortell does not refund: Shipping or insurance costs paid by the customer; Damaged or incomplete return kits; Accessories that are not returned, unless replaced at cost; Hearing aids returned after the 100-day window.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once returned items are inspected and approved. Returns are limited to one full refund per hearing aid model per customer. Fortell reserves the right to deny refund requests suspected of abuse, serial returns, or unauthorized resale.
Loss and Damage Coverage
- Fortell offers a Loss & Damage Coverage Plan that is included with your purchase. Under this plan, you are eligible for one-time replacement of your hearing aids (left and right) if they are lost or irreparably damaged, for a flat fee of $400 for the pair. We do not support replacements of individual devices.
- The coverage is valid for three (3) years from the date of original delivery and expires upon use.
- The replacement fee must be paid in full before the replacement device is shipped.
- Accessories, chargers, and consumables are not covered under this plan. Replacement chargers can be purchased directly from Fortell.
- This plan does not cover: Cosmetic wear, dents, or minor damage not impairing function; Damage caused by pets, cleaning agents, or unauthorized service; Replacement of a second lost or damaged device after a prior claim; Theft without a valid police report or insurance denial; Return shipping for the damaged device (if applicable).
