Your audiologist programs your Fortell AI Hearing Aids based on your audiogram and your initial consultation. They arrive by mail, calibrated, sized, and ready to wear.

Your audiologist fine tunes your hearing aids live, over the internet, using the same processes and technologies we use in our physical audiology clinics. By the end of the call, you’re an expert, you’re comfortable, and you’re ready to enjoy conversation in more places.
Fortell Anywhere is Fortell’s virtual audiology clinic, giving you access to licensed audiologists from the comfort of home. Your audiologist can fit and fine-tune your Fortell AI Hearing Aids, answer questions, and provide ongoing care, no clinic visit required.
The biggest difference is location — yours. You’ll meet with your audiologist over Zoom, and they’ll guide you through every step, from setup to fitting and fine-tuning. Your hearing aids can be adjusted in real time using the same fitting software we use in our clinics.
Virtual care works well for many people with straightforward hearing loss. To be eligible, you’ll need to:
- Have an iPhone or iPad that supports the Fortell app
- Provide a diagnostic audiogram completed within the last 6 months
- Not have severe-to-profound hearing loss or very poor word recognition (below 65%)
- Not have medical needs that require an in-person evaluation
It’s also helpful to be comfortable with basic video calls and able to handle small hearing-aid parts, like domes and wax guards.
Some symptoms or conditions are better evaluated in person, including sudden hearing loss, ear pain or drainage, dizziness, or visible ear blockage. If that applies to you, we’ll help you determine the right next step before moving forward.
Fortell Anywhere is available in most U.S. states. During your intro call, we’ll confirm availability where you live.
We require a diagnostic audiogram completed within the last 6 months. This is a full hearing test performed by a licensed hearing professional, not an online hearing screening.

Yes. Your audiologist can program and fine-tune your hearing aids remotely using the same fitting software we use in our clinics. They’ll guide you through setup and pairing, and adjustments can be delivered directly to your devices through the Fortell app.
Fortell doesn’t bill insurance directly, but some plans may reimburse you for out-of-network hearing care. We’re happy to provide the paperwork you need to submit a claim. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to understand your specific coverage and requirements.
No. Your audiology care — virtual or in person — is included with your Fortell AI Hearing Aids for five years, with appointments as often as needed.
Your Fortell AI Hearing Aids include:

- Three years of loss and damage coverage

Your Fortell AI Hearing Aids are programmed to your audiogram before they ship, so they’ll already be calibrated to your hearing profile when they arrive.
Inside the box, you’ll find your hearing aids, charging case, and everything you need for your fitting. Charge your devices before your appointment, then your audiologist will walk you through the rest live on Zoom.
Most virtual visits take 30 to 60 minutes. You can schedule directly through the link on this page, and we’ll send you everything you need to prepare.
Just reach out to your care team. Follow-up adjustments can be discussed over Zoom and delivered directly to your devices through the Fortell app at your convenience. Follow-up care is included in the cost of your hearing aids for five years.
Absolutely. Fortell Anywhere patients are always welcome at any Fortell clinic. Virtual and in-person care work together, so you can move between the two however works best for you.
